However, I was shocked to find that it contains Sodium Benzoate (INS 211) as a preservative. When combined with Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Sodium Benzoate can form benzene, a known carcinogen. Studies have shown that benzene exposure is linked to various health risks, including cancer.
Given that this is a health supplement, it is extremely concerning that such an ingredient is included. I urge the manufacturer to reconsider this formulation and for potential buyers to be aware of this issue before purchasing.
